Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Tidy Act Cleaning, LLC (doing business as “Tidy Act Home Cleaning”) website and the booking of cleaning services through our site or other communication channels.
By accessing our website or scheduling services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website or booking services.
Services Provided
“Tidy Act” or “Company” provides residential and, where applicable, commercial cleaning services as described on our website or agreed upon during scheduling.
Services are limited to cleaning tasks and do not include repair, restoration, or specialized services unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
The scope, frequency, and duration of services may vary based on the type of service requested and the condition of the property at the time of service.
Platform Role & Independent Service Providers
“Tidy Act” or “Company” operates as a professional service platform that coordinates cleaning services for customers.
Cleaning services are performed by independent cleaning professionals who operate their own businesses.
These service providers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or legal partners of “Tidy Act” or “Company”. While we establish service standards and coordinate scheduling, communication, and quality expectations, independent service providers maintain control over the manner and method of their work.
Independent service providers are solely responsible for the services they perform.
Scheduling & Cancellations
Cleaning services are scheduled based on availability and confirmed after a request is submitted through our website, phone, or other communication channels.
Customers are encouraged to provide as much notice as possible for rescheduling or cancellations.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with at least 24 hours’ notice are not subject to a fee. Late cancellations, missed appointments, or denied access at the time of service may result in a cancellation fee of up to 75% of the scheduled service price, depending on the amount of notice given and whether our service provider had already traveled to the appointment.
“Tidy Act” or “Company” reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, safety concerns, access issues, or service provider availability. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers promptly and reschedule services when possible. If a service cannot be rescheduled, the customer will receive a full refund.
Payments & Fees
Payment for cleaning services is due as outlined at the time of booking or as otherwise communicated prior to service. In some cases, a deposit may be required to confirm a scheduled appointment.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers, such as Square. “Tidy Act” or “Company” does not store or have access to customers’ credit or debit card information.
Additional fees may apply for services that require extra time, effort, or resources beyond the originally requested scope. Any such fees will be communicated and approved prior to proceeding whenever possible.
Service Satisfaction & Issue Resolution
Customer satisfaction is important to us.
If a customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of the cleaning service, they must notify “Tidy Act” or “Company” within 24 hours of service completion.
We will review the concern and, where appropriate, arrange for a re-clean of the affected area. Re-cleans are the primary method of resolution.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at our discretion.
Damage & Claims
Any claim for damage allegedly caused during service must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
Claims may require photo documentation and inspection. “Tidy Act” or “Company” reserves the right to repair damage through a provider of its choice.
- We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Improperly installed items
- Items that are fragile, unstable, or improperly secured
- Valuable items not disclosed prior to service
Property Access & Conditions
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property, including access to electricity and running water.
Customers must secure valuables, fragile items, and pets prior to the scheduled service.
If service cannot be performed due to access issues, unsafe conditions, aggressive animals, or undisclosed hazards, the appointment may be canceled and a fee may apply.
Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide high-quality cleaning services, results may vary depending on the condition of the property and surfaces being cleaned.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, “Tidy Act” or “Company” shall not be held liable for damage or loss resulting from conditions beyond our reasonable control.
“Tidy Act” or “Company’s” total liability for any claim arising from services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service in question.
